Sheikhupura is the historical city in Pakistan. It is situated in Punjab near Lahore. If you love to travel then I highly recommended, You must visit this city. Sheikhupura has many historical places. If you want to go to Sheikhupura then you must visit the 5 things.

1. Hiran Minar

First, let's clear one thing Deer is called Hiran in Urdu and Tower is called Minar in Urdu, Then finally it become Hiran Minar.  Hiran Minar one of the best historical place in Sheikhupura. 

Hiran Minar was built by Emperor Jahangir in 1607. Actually, its story is like this Emperor Jahangir loved deer. When that deer died, So the emperor built the tower in memory of the deer. 

Today people come from far away to see Hiran Minar. It is very spectacular and worth seeing. If you have come to Sheikhupura, So do not forget to visit Hiran Minar. 

2. Sheikhupura Fort

Shiekhupura Fort was also built by Emperor Jahangir in 1607. Actually, Sheikhupur's old name is Jahangirabad and it was the hunting ground of Emperor Jahangir and because of this, Emperor Jahangir had to build Sheikhupura Fort.

Now it has become a tourist point. The fort was heavily damaged but it is repaired and now open for tourists. 

3. Sheikhupura Stadium

Sheikhupura Stadium is a cricket stadium. It is used for international and domestic matches. The stadium holds 15000 people and hosted its first Test match in 1996.

The first match in this stadium was played between Pakistan and South Africa. If you have come to Sheikhupura then you must go to that cricket stadium.

4. Company bagh Sheikhupura

Company bagh Sheilhupura is the best place to spend free time. This is the best place to have a picnic with the family and it is a very beautiful place. Company bagh is a best place for a photoshoot.

5. Jinnah Park

Jinnah Park is one of the most famous place in Sheikhupura. Actually, there is not a park, It is a market. It is a biggest market in Sheikhupura where you get the best restaurant to eat and good shops for shopping.
